Design Team

It's official. Art Impressions has my picture and bio listing me as a member of their design team. I still can't believe it. Whole new adventure for this grandma. Got to have my samples done by tomorrow....might be a long night Sunday if I don't get crackin'

It was good spending time with my friend Dorothy at the store today. She is a member of our Altered Book Club...very creative.....and a real nut! Thanks, Dorothy. Also want to thank Sam for coming in with his mom Micki...takes a lot of courage to hang around a bunch of "old" ladies but you brightened my day, Sam.

We got two orders of Copic Markers in the store this past Thursday and another order coming next Thursday. We also have a reinker station now. If you don't have appointments or responsiblities holding you back come in Thursday, get the best pick at the best price for Copics and spend the day playing with other Copic addicts in the classroom. We have fun! Stamps and More by Eleanor, Piedmont, SC. If you can't come on Thursday, there is always Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. I'll be there most of the time.

I will have another posting soon with a picture scan.

This is a word stamp from Art Impressions. On this card I stamped "Thanks" on Neenah solar white using Memento Tuxedo Black. Then using my copic markers (G40, G82 and G85) I feather blended in the letters. I used G85 on the bottom, G82 on the top (feathering to the center) and then G40 to blend them together.
I colored pearl buttons with the G85 and mounted them with Glossy Accents. The ribbon is double layered. The bottom layer is cream colored ribbon that I colored with G85 and G82 on the outside edges.

I just love this stamp, makes me smile just looking at it. It was an easy one to color with the Copics but unfortunately it required a large amount of markers. It took longer to pick out the markers than it did to color. The stamp is by Art Impressions T-2832, "Luigi". I used the following Copic Markers: E0000, E00, E02, E13, E25, E27, E29; B32, B34, B37; R01, R05, R37; Y15, Y17 and W0, W2.
