This is the last stamp that I have in this series...but now that I have seen the stamps that Rubbernecker carries I will certainly be purchasing more.  I love this vintage look and is so easy to color with the Copic markers.  If you would like to make this card I will have the stamps and instructions this coming Thursday at Powdersville Community Church where we are meeting at 10 am until around 3pm. Fee: donation only.  Just bring your coordinating papers, ribbon and gems.  I will have a few of each available...first come first serve. :)

My computer was have "remote maintenance" performed last night so even though I finished this card last evening I wasn't able to post it until this morning.  That is so weird to have someone working/using your computer and they are somewhere else...probably even in another country.  But it's back now in my control so here you go.

Today is going to be difficult for awhile as this is the first Altered Book Club meeting at the store since my departure there.. I usually attend but since I am not allowed in the store I have planned a road trip with friends and we are going to Landrum, N.C. to check out "One Scrappy Chick".  They are having good sales prior to closing the doors.  I liked this store and always hate to hear of another scrapbook/stamping/paper crafting store being closed but I understand the reason and wish her God's blessings on her new endeavor.

Back to "Bella".  (Rubbernecker stamp "Bella" 210-02)  This is lady #3 of the 4 stamps I bought. I hope you like her....slightly different era.  Reminds me of the 60's.  She is stamped on Neenah Solar White using Momento Tuxedo Black.  I colored her with Copic Markers:  E000, E01, R02; E11, E13; BG11, BG34, BG45; C2. I distressed the edges with TH Distress Ink "Broken China" using the blending tool.  Next I matted her on Glitter paper. The card base is Bazzil "Atlantic".   I used an old border stamp from Paper Inspirations called "Ornamental Borders 3" LCS251 and I found it at this website. www.paperinspirations.com/.../LCS251-Ornamental-Borders )


I stamped the border in black next to the right edge of the card and then trimmed the right edge. A ribbon was added (a piece of scrap I found in my stash) that matched the dress and paper and a button out of my button jar.  I clipped off the back before glueing the button down with "Fabri Tac".  Love this glue. I added a strip of scrapbook paper that I thought matched the mood of the card on the inside to give contrast to the trimmed border.

This is today's creation....and did I have fun doing it.  This is another Rubbernecker stamp I recently purchased.  It is has been a beautiful fall day here in South Carolina and I hope yours as well.  About my card, I first stamped it with Momento Tuxedo black ink on Neanah solar white cardstock and colored it using my Copic markers.  I colored the dress and hat using E30, E33, and E35.  The skin colors I used were E000, E02 and R02.  I added R17 for lipstick and used BG000 for eye shadow.  Her jewelry and handkerchief are colored using BG000 and BG01.  Her hair I used W1.  I shadowed the whole image using W2.

I trimmed the paper to 3.25" x 5"  and used the Martha Stewart Deco corner punch (42-60001)and then used the
Blending applicator from Tim Holtz and the Distress Ink Tea Dye pad.to distress the piece.  I used DMC cotton floss to add stitching to the corners by threading thru a embroidery needle.  The Deco punch has two small holes on the inside base of the corner punch.  I ran the thread thru these holes around the whole piece.

I pop dotted with Bazzil True Teal and the under mat was made using Graphic 45 Renaissance Faire Collection #4500107 and a dark brown cardstock.  I scored the front and inside using the Scor-it and the corners were rounded on the True Teal and black base cardstock.  The jewels are from Prima. #530488 SHP Strip Cream.

Inside I matted the edges with the same Graphic 45 Renaissance Faire Collection.  The liner was cut 5" x 6-3/4" as per instructions for the Martha Stewart Punch around the Page "Embroidered Floral" 42-40061 (edge) and Embroidered Floral 42050031 (corner).
