Hedgehog "Here Comes Christmas"

As requested by my friend m.h. here is the Christmas hedgehog I did on Saturday.  Before coloring I used my "Masquepen" which is a cool blue masking fluid that dries and I have used when water coloring.  This was the first time I have ever tried it with the Copic markers. It worked...there was some bleeding under the mask but the liquid mask worked for the effect I wanted.

Three Pumpkins

I am back and it's been a VERY busy week at the store.  I have 5 pictures to share with you. Hope you like them.  I have pulled out some of my older stamps getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sure is nice to be back in South Carolina.

On vacation

New Colony, Tx.

I know several have asked where I have been.  Right now we are visiting children and grandchildren near Dallas, Tx.  Let me tell you....I lived in the Dallas area for over 20 years.  Suffered through the worst (I thought) in 1980 of 42 days of 100+ degrees of heat.  Coming from South Carolina and jumping into 100+ heat  is like dropping a frog into boiling water......you want to jump right out of it!!!  It has been over 2-1/2 years since we have been here and I had 2 grandchildren I had never got to hold.  John, our son and his wife Holly have 4 children ages 5 to 1-1/2.  The oldest is a girl...my only granddaughter. They are an arm full and all different.  What a joy!  Needless to say I haven't had much time or opportunity with 8 little hands to work with my Copic markers or anything else.  I plan to be back at the store Friday morning and get things back to normal.  In the meantime I am enjoying hearing them calling me "GRRAAANDMAAA" ;)

Work Out, Weight Watchers and Dancers

The stamps used here are unmounted on cushion.  When I placed the words on the acrylic block I curved them up to fit below the table.

I used the Clear Spica pen on the glasses and tutu skirts.

Good Friends

I finally found time to set at my computer and do 

something else besides check email.  This past 

week I have been house, dog, and horse sitting 

for my friend Roxanna.  Also, I've been very busy at the 

working in the classroom every day working on

samples and keeping the room clean and stocked for

whom ever comes in to join me.  This is one of my 

more recent samples.  It is a Penny Black "Good 

Friends" 1979K.  It comes mounted on a cushion.

I just love this sweet stamp, her puggie legs, sweet

face and the little blue bird with the hearts falling out

of the flower.  I hope you like it too!
